Quick and easy access to car rescue sheets for rescue services

Rescue services require detailed but easy accessible information regarding the construction of individual vehicles to extricate trapped occupants as quickly and safely as possible. This is becoming more pressing as vehicles become stronger (e.g. use of high strength steels or composite materials), use different sources of power (e.g. electric/hybrid, hydrogen) and are equipped with increasing numbers of safety devices (e.g. airbags). Car makers in recent years have invested in “Rescue sheets” but their availability across Europe is not always guaranteed. The Euro NCAP app, gathers all the available rescue sheets in one easy to use application. The app was build in collaboration with rescue service professionals for the best possible understanding how the app should be build to become their go-to tool to safe time and help safe lives.
